Fox News the Musical (FNTM) arrives just in time for one of the most politically-charged seasons in recent memory. With Roger Ailes’ recent exit from Fox News, Megan Kelly’s rise and departure, and the historic election/fallout of 2016, things have never been more tense in the conservative 24-hour media world.
Showcasing an original score and book, this full-length musical satire lovingly lampoons the right-wing media world while digging deeper to explore what it means to be bi-partisan in an increasingly polarized country.
The story follows Hope Roosevelt, a young idealistic liberal who finds herself working at Fox News.
As Hope unwittingly climbs the corporate ladder, she has to balance chasing her dream of being an influential journalist, conquering corporate media bias, fending off the threatening patriarchy, and sorting out unlikely romance.
Fox News the Musical runs April 20-23 at the Secret Rose Theatre in North Hollywood. Get your tickets today!
